Campbell River Schools International has been welcoming International students for more than 15 years. Our students rave about the connections, relationships and Canadian cultural experience that Campbell River offers. We believe in a program that is flexible and personalized to prioritize our relationships with our students, our Host Families and our Partners. As a small program we offer our students a supportive environment that balances an exceptional academic experience with a Campbell River Adventure tailor made for your student.

Activities for International Students

 

We want our students to take advantage of every opportunity to engage with their school and community. Our Activity Coordinator arranges several activities each month to encourage students to participate in local events and overnight trips. We offer a variety of trips and events to appeal to all types of students and we want you to experience all that Vancouver Island has to offer. In a typical year students can expect some of the following events:

–       Welcome Party and a Farewell Party

–       Whale and Wildlife Watching

–       Trips to the metropolitan cities of Vancouver and Victoria

–       Tribune Bay Outdoor Centre on Hornby Island

–       Tofino and Ucluelet for Surfing

–       The Rockies

–       Skiing or Snowboarding on Mt. Washington

–       And many more!!!
